Forverts Newspaper Exhibit - Sunday, March 19

The PRESSED exhibit, currently on display at Pitt's Hillman library, draws from the metal printing plates of Forverts (also known as Forward) newspaper. The 125-year old Forward newspaper was originally a Yiddush-language daily paper that served Jewish immigrants to America.
Join Dr. Rachel Kranson to peruse the exhibit, and participate in a (virtual) conversation with Forward Archivist Chana Pollack and Exhibit Curator Nancy Johnson.
