Congregation Beth Shalom is committed to supporting the Jewish educational growth of its children and young adults. To that end we, and others, have established several Scholarship funds to encourage and support that growth.
These scholarships are both need based and non-need based. Regardless of the scholarship type the application must be completed. The applications will only be considered for members in good standing. A member is considered in good standing when their expected annual contribution of the year they initiate a scholarship request has been paid in full or they are not delinquent on a pre-arranged contribution payment plan.
Camping Scholarships
Applicants for need based and non-need based scholarships for summer camps should be 18 years of age or younger, are required to complete the scholarship application, and provide all requested supporting documents. The selected camp MUST adhere to the operational guidelines of the Conservative movement. Israel Experience Scholarships
Applicants for need based and non-need based scholarships for travel to Israel should be 25 years old or younger, are required to complete the scholarship application, and provide all requested supporting documents. Applications for need based and non-need based scholarships should be submitted at least 6 months prior to expected departure. CLICK HERE to apply.
Scholarship Awards
Recipients of scholarship awards will be notified by the Controller. Scholarship awards may include post-attendance reports or presentations required by the program they are accessing. Applicants and their families should make sure they are understand these requirements prior to making their application for assistance.
