Congregation Beth Shalom, situated in the heart of Squirrel Hill, boasts one of the largest ballrooms and kitchens in Pittsburgh, suitable for formal events or intimate gatherings. With over 88,000 sq. ft. of space, Beth Shalom is an ideal location for meetings, business presentations, and, of course, religious services. The Faye Rubenstein Weiss Sanctuary seats 1800 while our smaller chapels (2) can seat 150 and 60, respectively. The Samuel and Minnie Hyman Ballroom is perfect for dinners and shows for up to 400 people. The ballroom includes a full stage and grand piano, and separate kosher meat and dairy kitchens. We even have a gym which is used for evening basketball and dodgeball leagues and can be rented for birthday parties.
