Join Rabbi Adelson on the first Tuesday of each month for Lunch and Learn. This year’s subject will be "Israeli History Through Pop Music".

Popular music is one lens through which we can view culture and history, and the music of the early Zionists and thereafter the State of Israel is a rich source for understanding what makes Israelis tick. We will journey across the 20^th century and toward the present as we identify the social currents and identity-shaping ideas and values reflected in these songs, and discuss their role in fashioning the contemporary landscape of Israel.”
