Hitoreri - Get up for High Holidays

Beth Shalom has everything you need to get you spiritually and mentally ready for the High Holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Every Wednesday in Elul (the month preceding Rosh Hashanah) from 12:15 to 1:30 pm, join Rabbi Mark Asher Goodman for an exploration of our High Holiday themes like teshuvah - repentance ; malhut - majesty ; yom harat haolam - the birthday of the world ; and seliha - forgiveness. This class takes place at Beth Shalom in the Lehman Center, and also online. You can click here to join.

And every Saturday in Elul during Minha/Maariv, join Rabbi Seth Adelson or Rabbi Mark Asher Goodman as one of them gives a brief teaching on the High Holiday themes. Teaching takes place in between the afternoon and evening prayer service; times adjust based on the end of Shabbat. Minha is at 7:30 pm on September 3, 7:20 pm on September 10pm , 7:10 pm on September 17, and 6:55 pm on September 24.

We hope to see you there as you 'get up' (hitoreri) for the Yamim Nora'im - the High Holy Days.
