Tish'ah BeAv - Monday, August 12

The ninth day of the the month of Av is the most mournful day of the Jewish year, a container for virtually every tragedy that has occurred in our history. The whole community is invited to join us at Beth Shalom for MinhahMa’ariv, the soulful chanting of Megillat Eikhah (the book of Lamentations), melancholy melodies, and “Kinot Addresses” – brief commentaries on classical laments. We will also mark the great tragedy which has befallen our people in 5784. All are welcome.
