Learning with Rabbi Danny Schiff - Class starts Thursday, October 8, 2026

We are grateful to welcome Rabbi Danny Schiff, the H. Arnold and Adrien B. Gefsky Community Scholar at the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.

In this course, Rabbi Schiff will delve into 25 Talmudic texts that show the essence of the debate between the House of Hillel and the House of Shamai. The class discussion will consider what these disagreements teach us about the core ideas of the Talmud that continue to resonate in our own age.

The cost is FREE for Beth Shalom members and $180 for non-members.
