Donate to the ELC Parent-Teacher Organization

The mission of the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is to help both teachers and parents get the most out of the ELC community. For the most part, this means community building events for parents and their kids and appreciation activities for teachers, plus fundraising to support both. These activities include Parents Night Out, PTO Playdate, Purim Carnival and Teacher Appreciation Week. Also, the PTO purchased new toys for the gym, fundraised new iPads for the classrooms, and kept the teacher lounge stocked with pick-me-ups for the teachers.

There are two ways you can help going into the next school year.

First of all, we are always looking for volunteers.  Please reach out and let us know if you are interested in being a PTO chair, room parent, or volunteering in some other way.  We are all busy and there are no shortage of good ideas; we are always looking for help putting them into practice!

We also hope you consider making a voluntary contribution to the PTO’s funds for next year. We are able to support core programs like Teacher Appreciation Week and stocking the teacher lounge via the PTO fee, but additional funds allow us to be more generous with teachers and school supplies, run more no-cost programs, and generally spend more time doing things for people and less time fundraising.
