It is estimated that 1 in 5 Ashkenazic Jews is a carrier of a mutation in at least one of 20 rare disease genes. Aviva is a health care attorney, wife and mother of 3 boys, with personal experience dealing with genetic diseases. Aviva has spoken around the country about Gaucher Disease and her family’s story. She loves educating the community and spreading awareness surrounding genetic diseases.
